Coach Ditka Says “Motivate Yourself!”

A month has already passed in 2013 and if many of you are like me, we are already having problems working towards achieving your New Year’s Resolutions. There always seems something that keeps us from the work required… busy life, lethargy, lack of focus, lack of motivation, excuses. Whatever is killing your motivation, it needs to be addressed. I tend to agree with ole’ Coach on this… we need to motivate ourselves! Here are some great quotes that might help spark your engine:

    “The ones who want to achieve and win championships motivate themselves.” – Mike Ditka

    “I do not think there is any thrill that can go through the human heart like that felt by the inventor as he sees some creation of the brain unfolding to success… Such emotions make a man forget food, sleep, friends, love, everything.” – Tesla

    “Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goal.” – Henry Ford

    “There is a tide in the affairs of men
    Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune;
    Omitted, all the voyage of their life
    Is bound in shallows and in miseries.
    On such a full sea are now afloat;
    And we must take the current when it serves,
    Or lose the ventures before us” – William Shakespeare
